Job fair to be held for 150 new jobs at Kohl's store | Business

PINEVILLE / UNION COUNTY - As Kohl's Department stores gears up for the opening of its newest store in Union County, its holding a job fair to hire nearly 150 new employees.

The new store is slated to open in Waxhaw in September and local job seekers are encouraged to apply for approximately 150 new positions that are being created.

Kohl’s, which has been recognized by BusinessWeek as one of the “Best Places to Launch a Career” and the most reputable department store on the Forbes annual list of the Most Reputable Companies, is currently hiring. A job fair is scheduled for August 7-11 in Pineville.

For new stores, Kohl’s needs associates for register operators, department associates, customer service, early a.m. freight unloaders and evening ad set associates. Kohl’s associates can expect great things such as, competitive compensation, great benefits, an Employee Stock Ownership Plan and immediate merchandise discounts.

• Monday, August 8 - 10:45 a.m. – 6:15 p.m.
• Tuesday, August 9 - 12:15 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, August 10 - 8:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Thursday, August 11 - 8:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The job fair will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte in Pineville. The hotel is located at 425 Towne Centre Boulevard in Pineville.
